I find it odd that the BBC aren't handling their own show.

I applied though.

I am such an idiot! I forgot my login for the site so when the email came through yesterday I couldn't request tickets straight away!! Got the reminder email today and have requested them now but don't think I've got a hope :( x

It's random, so it doesn't matter when you apply, you still have a chance. It's not first come, first serve.

So what's the point of registering interest in advance if it doesn't actually give you an advantage?

Registering interest basically just meant that they would email you when the tickets were available.

Annoying, but it's the only fair way to do it really.

So who's watching it then? I do. I have to say I do miss John Barrowman. But Sheila Hancock is brilliant and (mostly) makes up for it.
The candidates are all pretty much fantastic this year. It's going to be such a tough decision (not that I can vote... ;) )
For now I'd go with Stephanie, Bronte and Jessica as my favourites, but that might still change as the series goes along and we see more of them.
Any favourites for the "wild card Dorothy"? Personally I love Claire Hilliers voice, but I don't think she'll fit the part appearance-wise (or maybe that's just her hairstyle distracting me  )

Of course I'm watching :D Much as I love John Barrowman, I'm liking this years pannel so far. I love Sheila Hancock's to the point attitude and the way she has what I call as slightly sidewise take on things - a different but justified opinion. John Partridge is lovely and is already showing signs that he's gonna be the softy of the pannel but still really knows what he's talking about. Even Charlotte Church isn't annoying me too much at the moment  . As for the girls, I'm sure like Nanny_Ogg said, my favourites will change but over the weekend I picked out Steph, Sophie, Lauren and Dani. I thought Tegan might have gone through so she's one of my possibles for the wild card although there's definately something about Tasheka. It's all so exciting, really looking forward to next Saturday :)

I'm not ignoring you folks - but we haven't even seen the Jodie Prenger show yet here in the US.

I wonder why they decided to do another girl show, I'd have thought it was the turn of the boys to have one. Thinking about how much more fun the Josephs were to watch than the Marias. Of course, I'm not fond of soprano voices which might influence that just a bit. Plus my idea of eye-candy is much more Daniel or Ben than Connie. :)
